It’s always stunning to see a lovely ray saying hello behind a glass. It’s always fascinating feeling as one of the character of “Finding Nemo”, even if you don’t have any scale or pin. The pleasure of going to the Aquarium is timeless. And in Milan, although it is not so known, there is a little one: a magic place, where you can have a walk dreaming about the coral reef. You don’t have to imagine a museum, with tons of creatures and sceneries, but only a corner of blue water, corals and…glittering friends just like simple artworks.
You can rest for hours next to yellow, blue and purple fish, following them in their never ending track. You can float with your mind with a puffer fish, as well as with a curious surgeonfish. And what about drawing a starfish? She is ready to be captured on your notebook, or in your camera.
Finally, these days there is also something special. An exhibition about different shapes of water. Water in Finland, which covers trees, making them a strange sort of magical creatures. Water that surrounds small pieces of earth, painting stunning landscapes. Water that is able to create lighting effects, playing with the sky or the clouds. So, you can feel how alive this blue gold is. You can see what a great painter a small lake in the North can be. And maybe, after this short walk, someone might become a bit more aware of what we have in a glass, as well as of the treasure hidden under the waves of the sea.
